  • Essay / The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain shows...

Growing up is different for everyone. Some people get everything they want; others must work for even the one meal they might receive per day. This is something that has been going on for as long as humans have lived on this Earth. In Mark Twain's novel, you see both sides of the situation, the richer side of Tom Sawyer's childhood and the poorer side being Huck Finn. Even though these completely different characters end up being friends, you'd never think they could be. They become friends throughout all their adventures. If they were told what they were doing was dangerous, none of them would care, they saw no danger in what they were doing because they loved the adventure part so much. They end up embarking on an adventure that really paid off and they find gold and end up with $600 each. It changed both of their lives, but especially Huck's. In Mark Twain's book, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, there are three parts of this story that really stood out to me. When Huckleberry Finn faked his own death using a pig and being very methodical about how he set it up in the book. The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Huck realizes that he is done living with his father who is always drunk and locks him in a cabin. That in itself is really annoying to me. If you locked me in a cabin, I'm almost one hundred percent sure I wouldn't survive. To fake his own murder, he "took an ax and smashed the door...he got the pig and brought it almost back to the table and slit its throat with the ax...I tore out my hair, I I bloodied the ax well and threw it. in the corner. Huck then steps back and studies his work to make sure there might be ...... middle of paper ...... not to. Mark Twain incorporated many fantastic and different scenes into the book The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. and made it a book that will always be remembered for that. This is a different type of book in the way it is written. Mark Twain himself said: "He admits that there is no real plot throughout this book, but it is filled with the greatest moments, of growing up, of seeing through skin color , and even escape from people who have hurt you in the past. One thing this book really highlights is that it's not okay to lie and you need to be true to yourself when all else fails. This quote from Ray Bradbury really expresses how this book, my Mark Twain, works and is put together. As a child, no one wants to listen to you, but they have to come at some point and listen to what you have to say, otherwise nothing will happen the way they should..
