    Although my own awakening ritual makes me unique as an individual, various parts of my ritual are performed similarly by other groups of people. For example, my wake-up ritual takes place in my room, but my room is located in a dorm where various other students reside, who also wake up around the same time. So, in a way, I'm just another ant in an ant colony as we all go through the actions of changing clothes, going to the bathroom, interacting with social media, and getting our clothes ready. backpacks, all in different orders depending on our personal preferences. we prepare our different courses. This feeling of being just another ant in a colony reinforces my own sense of identity as a student as I continue my routine alongside the other students who live in my residence hall. In the same way that orientation introduces us to college life, your daily college ritual begins to form once you learn to adapt to your new culture.
