The burial chamber was the most important room in the tomb of Tutankhamun. The tomb is a rock-hewn tomb in the limestone cliffs of the Valley of the Kings. The burial chamber is notable for one main reason. The burial chamber is significant largely due to the exquisite paintings on the north, south, east and west walls of the chamber.
