During my sixth form studies, I learned a number of essential skills. Studying play, children's learning and development, BTEC biology and health and social care demonstrates my aptitude for organisation, respect for time and self-motivation of the load of work, as these subjects require a lot of hard work and dedication, which are beneficial skills for becoming a midwife. Health and Social training requires participation in professional experience; I completed my professional experience at Bedford Hospital, in the maternity ward, where I observed midwives in action. I experienced midwives allowing mother and baby to receive the best and most sufficient care possible, which intrigued me. Above all, through my experiences of staying in sixth grade for an extra year, I learned that perseverance is
