    “The Bible is a special revelation from God to man of truths concerning himself, his purposes, his plans, his will, man and his sinful nature, and the redemptive plan of God for man. » This quote from Gene Nowlin, in his book The Paraphrased Perversion of the Bible, summarizes the composition of the Bible. Throughout their lives, Christians hold tightly to these words of God in hopes of one day inheriting the Kingdom of God. To do this, they must carefully study the Bible and apply it daily in their lives. Without the proper Bible, this can become a difficult task to accomplish. Although the various translations of the Christian Bible are exceptionally similar in their message, some have many differences and perversions that set them apart from one another. Many of them even omit several potentially important verses in their revision. These variations help to justify that a translation is more reliable and more accurate than other versions. According to Wallace in the article "Choosing a Translation" in Bible Study Magazine, the most important translations in today's society are the King James Version. (KJV), Revised Standard Version (RSV), New International Version (NIV), American Standard Version (ASV), New Living Translation (NLT), and New English Bible (NEB) (24). Other versions include even newer translations such as the New Revised Standard Version (NRSV), the New American Standard Version (NASB), the New Today International Version (TNIV), and the Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB ). Each of the Bibles has its own set of differences and similarities. The first of these was the KJV, originally created in 1611.
