The third method of communication I use is the school website and email. At the school where I work, teachers use the school website which allows us to give families information about classroom activities, grades, and post items to the website (Guillaume, 2016). Other additional information is available to parents as shown: monthly calendars, newsletters, textbook, homework, photo, student progress information, teacher goals and much more. Technology can play a major role in providing opportunities to improve the educational landscape and expand communication options. One of the concerns with this website is ensuring that it is password protected and accessible only to students' families. School staff and teachers are responsible for keeping information on the school website current and accurate. Emailing parents about their children's accomplishments helps build trust between parents and teacher. These types of positive spontaneous actions create two-way conversations when parents respond to emails. However, sending emails to parents can be a misinterpreted and impersonal way of conveying the challenges or problems the child is facing. So, only send emails to share positive information about a particular child's activities and accomplishments. Teachers who
