Legalize marijuanaMarijuana is a drug that is spreading all over the world and is now proven to be the most beneficial drug there is. More than 25 million Americans use it every year. If the country legalized it, everyone would have more jobs available, such as harvesters, dispensary clerks, distributors or cultivators. So the unemployment rate is reduced and America could make more money if it taxed it (Jack). Not only could they tax it, but they could also save more money because they wouldn't have to lock up people arrested every year. This way, America could reduce the country's debt and then there would be far fewer people in prison. This would save the country billions of dollars each year and earn billions more each year. This country needs to tax everything it can because taxing marijuana would bring in a lot more revenue and America would be able to trade with other countries as well. Marijuana has also been shown to help cure diseases such as glaucoma, Alzheimer's disease, and other cancerous diseases. There is evidence that it can help relieve pain, regain appetite, slow the growth of tumors, relieve dizziness, and help a patient fall asleep. THC, which is the main ingredient in marijuana, helps a cancer patient regain their sense of smell and taste so they can regain their appetite. Medical marijuana (oil) helps relieve dizziness by stopping vomiting, reducing their diet, and helping people gain weight. Medicinal marijuana has been proven to help patients relax and fall asleep faster and easier.
