This essay examines the elements that contribute to becoming an effective early childhood educator. Effective early childhood education has been shown to be a complex and evolving process, influenced by many factors. These factors include a thorough understanding of the theories and philosophies of many pioneering and contemporary educationalists, such as Piaget, Montessori and Vygotsky, as well as studies from Reggio Emilia in Italy.
