Additionally, in India, the company only presents eight different categories, compared to 21 categories in the United States. This provides the company with the opportunity to improve its market share and grow. Expansion into Developing Markets The company's business is primarily driven by three fundamental demographic factors. These factors are: household information, population growth and household income growth. These factors are driving strong growth in major markets like China and Russia. The company uses its portfolio of leading brands to attract and build an extensive network of distributors. Currently, its distributor network in China reaches around 800 million. In Russia, 80% of the population has access to it. Therefore, by expanding its networks, P&G has the opportunity to increase its market share and expand its growth.
