Essay / My father's influence on my love for sport
I was lucky to have both parents in my life, but I believe my father was the most influential person in my life. I think he was able to guide me throughout my life in the best way possible. My father used his intelligence and wisdom to guide me through my school life. He helped me discover what has become one of my favorite sports hobbies. He got me started in football and from there I went to basketball and discovered my love of sports. Even though I don't play basketball anymore, I love watching Carolina play with my dad and the Carolina-Duke game is almost as big as the Super Bowl. My father helped me understand what it meant to be a man. He taught me to always open the door for women and let others come before me. One of the biggest lessons he taught me is that I am third. God always comes first and others come second. I should be the last person to worry about. My father constantly reminds me that I shouldn't burn bridges. Every time he goes out, he seems to meet up with an old childhood friend and they reminisce about the good times they had. When I'm older, I want to be able to have those friends to talk to about how things were in the past while describing our childhood antics. All of these qualities make up the person I admire in my father. Say no to plagiarism. Get a tailor-made essay on “Why violent video games should not be banned”?Get the original essay
