The 3-day food analysis provides me with the necessary information on where I was getting my energy, vitamins and minerals. It also shows whether or not I was meeting all of my nutritional needs. Unfortunately, this unusually 3-day food analysis did not match my usual eating habits. The 3 day dietary analysis revealed that I was not meeting my nutritional needs in many areas. I think overall my energy intake was lower than my output. I'm not surprised or dissatisfied, because it's not like I'm trying to lose or gain weight. I am not unhappy with the result, because compared to my normal eating habits, this result is much better. During the 3 days of food analysis, I forced myself out of my comfort zone, just to try something different. It was uncomfortable to tell you the truth because eating breakfast, lunch, a snack, and dinner wasn't something I usually did. My usual intake is a cup of water in the morning for breakfast, or just skip breakfast and have lunch with a friend on campus. During the 3 days of food analysis it has been extremely difficult as I have to go from what I usually eat to eating BLSD for 3 days. It was something completely new that my body had to adapt to. However, I did it and I am very proud of my achievement. I'm not an eater, I eat because my body needs energy, vitamins and minerals. The reason is that over the 3 day period I only have two slices of bread on the first day of the food analysis. Maybe more grains in my regular daily intake...... middle of paper ......s, I haven't been consuming many things that would have increased, water soluble vitamins. Sodium was the highest of all my vitamins, its intake was 138.4% of the DRI. Measurable objectives / Evaluation of progress. Starting this week or next week, I will increase my fruit and vegetable intake by having more than one serving of raw vegetable. like broccoli, cauliflower, peas, carrot, cucumber and others. I will also increase my grains by eating bread, cereal, oatmeal, rice and pasta. And calcium by drinking milk, eating fish, spinach and avocados. To get vitamin A, eat more carrots, strawberries, broccoli, eggs and cheese. In doing all of this, I will have to adopt a new attitude towards my diet and the way I used to do it. I don't want to, but if I want to live longer and have a healthy lifestyle, I need to change my intake to meet my nutritional needs..
