    It's easy to say that a parent had the most influence on your life, they taught you to walk, to talk, to drink and, among other things, I hope for good and bad. A good parent is there for you most of your life, quick to lend a hand or give you advice (unless it's your mother-in-law) when needed, but the trait What had the most impact on my life was the integrity my father showed with me. and the people who were lucky enough to have met him. My father was born to a farmer in New Jersey a few years after the Depression and learned at an early age the lessons that only hard work can teach. Working on the farm is not easy, the days are long, the tasks are extremely physical and dirty and if you are a child, all of this happens before you even go to school each morning. I think this is where my father learned the lessons that made him the man I admire so much. He is a just man who always put the needs of his family before his own. He was not one to give long lectures, but rather to lead and teach by example. There was nothing that would hurt me more than my father saying he was dead....
