    Mangerine, written by Edward Bloor. This situation is full of choices and consequences on the choices made. Paul and his brother don't have the best relationship one could say. Paul Fisher is a middle school student from Tangerine. He made a lot of choices in the story. It has all the consequences for all the choices made in the story. Paul had both positive and negative choices that he made in history. It's difficult because he has an eye disability. He is not treated the same way. His appearance throughout the story really doesn't change. He wears thick glasses as always. The whole story seems corny. Since moving to Tangerine, he has wanted to become a goalie. He gets an IEP because he has had an eye disability since he was a child. Paul has suffered from an eye disability for a long time, he wants to know the real reason why he became blind. He knows that seeing the eclipse without protection was for nothing. He knew all of this didn't happen because he couldn't remember a single thing that happened during this event. Throughout the novel, he tries to understand many things about his family. Throughout the novel, Paul makes many choices and all of these choices have a consequence. He decides he wants to be on the Lake Windsor football team. He was actually doing what he really wanted to do, but his disability had kept him away from the team. He also still has flashbacks and sees how bad memories didn't weigh on him and how Erik isn't a good influence. He decides to help the children involved in the sinkhole. He eventually decided to move to Tangerine County. On his first day of school at Tangerine Middle School, he meets a girl named Theresa and asks her if it was possible... middle of paper ...... casting which he does not fit into. Paul is going to join football. Lake Windsor Middle School team, they accepted it. Paul's mother goes to speak to Paul's principle to tell him about Paul's eye disability. After all of this, Paul was called and given an IEP. When he returned to his football coach, he told him about his eye problem and Paul was no longer on the team. Paul no longer had a team, which made him feel more alone. Throughout the novel, Paul's thoughts change. He decides to move to Tangerine for the chance to play the sport he really wants to play. Paul made a lot of choices in the novel. Some choices were good, like moving to Tangerine. Even if he had to start all over again. For example, he had to make new friends. He also had to start meeting new people. All choices have consequences.
