The Connections Between Rest and Exercise Rest and exercise are two main things you need to stay healthy. Rest helps mentally, emotionally and physically. For example, exercise leads to better rest and rest leads to better exercise. Additionally, too much rest or too much exercise can harm your health. For example; too much rest can lead to being overweight and unfit. Exercising can cause injury if you exceed what your body can handle. Since these effects are bad, you need to do both and not just one to avoid these effects. Here's how rest is good physically. Some people train to build muscle and have great muscle strength.
