    Approximately 5 million babies were born last year and approximately 11,000 people were killed due to drunk driving accidents in the United States. More than 1.2 million drivers were arrested in 2011 for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Nowadays, drinking alcohol is very common, as is driving. When you mix these two things, problems arise, people get hurt, lives are lost, prisons take in more inmates, and families are forced to mourn the lives of their innocent loved ones. There are hundreds and hundreds of problems in the world today; cancer, murder, kidnapping, rape, abortion, addiction, healthcare, etc. Drunk driving is also a problem. This is a completely unnecessary solution and should not pose a problem at all. However, out of all these problems, this is the easiest to solve. Drunk driving is a major problem in the United States today for many different reasons. Sometimes this is a problem because people think they can have a few drinks and still be consistent.
