Essay / When Zuroff presented, we knew what the agenda would be based on the setting of the Holocaust Museum and the flyer promoting his book. His book focuses on bringing the Nazis to justice and so his speech focused primarily on that. Throughout his speech, the audience learned about the process Dr. Zuroff followed to arrest Nazi criminals. The presenter did not focus on the Nazi criminals who realized the mistakes they made, but only focused on the villains who remain true to what they did years ago. This is not to say that all Nazi criminals felt no remorse for their actions, just that they were not recognized in this particular presentation. This is the meaning of agenda-setting theory: the media only focuses on what they deem important. Things they don't find important will come at the very end or be buried in a bunch of other things, so you may not even realize they're there. Dr. Zuroff also mentioned in his presentation some examples of scheduling theory that he has witnessed throughout his career. In the case of Sakic, the Croatian Nazi criminal mentioned above, people considered him a hero.
