The influences of globalization can be felt in every city in the world. Technology has enabled individuals as well as organizations to immerse themselves in another culture virtually at the speed of light. Understanding different societies and cultures has become one of the main business processes. The main focus has been on understanding different cultures due to its ability to influence business on a global scale. However, organizations such as IBM, McDonald's and Coca-Cola seem to have understood the importance of dealing with different cultures.
