  • Essay / Liberation through education - 610

Man is created in the image and likeness of God. The goal of one's existence is to reach one's full potential, that is, to live a more human, more Christian life, a life similar to that of Christ. Thus, our existence is based on love and inculcation of our knowledge into the minds of others. These Christian concepts are essential in the Father. De Torre's discussion of the perfectibility of man through education. At the opening of his selection, he talks about the notion of individuality against collectivism. Passing on an education is like passing on something that is part of you. It takes more than knowledge to educate others. Educating others requires patience and compassion, both of which come from love. So, I firmly believe that without love, from God and neighbor, education would not be possible...
