A leader who participates in their team's activities and group goals will help produce open communication with the team and enable the sharing of ideas and approval of the creative process. Working with a leader who refuses to participate and only dictates what needs to be done will not be the leader who will provide fun in the workplace. Having fun promotes connection between people and eliminates boredom and the mundane feeling that the team is just stuffing envelopes. Fun creates morale, a good atmosphere in the office, overcomes the negative and helps create a positive team culture.
