Focusing on key aspects of Paulo Freire and Saul Alinsky's models of community organizing, I will examine the extent to which these models are applicable to the UK. Drawing on examples of experiences applying the Root Solution Listening Matters (RSLM) and Participatory Action Research (PAR) frameworks in my practice. By comparing community business models, I will consider future opportunities for a budding community business.
