Integrity I have benefited from integrity in my workplace. I was assigned the task of training a difficult new employee and reporting back to management with daily reviews. My manager trusted that I would keep all our meetings and correspondence confidential. Even though we had huge personality differences and different work styles, I treated her like any new intern. By acting with integrity, I earned the respect and trust of management, which resulted in a promotion. I put integrity at the top of my list because I believe that acting with integrity is a core value in any ethical decision. To me, integrity means adhering to a high set of values ​​and moral standards. I could have treated our new hire poorly or unfairly, or talked to members of my team about his progress, but that would be falling short of my beliefs. Acting with integrity is not easy. It means adhering to a set of high values, even if my friends are doing something wrong. It means looking at a situation objectively and making a conscious decision every day to live up to those higher standards. Accountability I have seen accountability play an important role in the workplace. My mentor taught me to take responsibility for my mistakes and not point fingers.
