    The company, owned by Estée Lauder, must follow the regulations of its parent company. According to an article published on the OneGreenPlanet website, “in 2012, Estée Lauder resumed animal testing, after claiming to have abandoned the practice, to meet testing requirements in Chinese markets” (Ryan). Letting animals be harmed only under the regulations of a certain country is a bad decision as a business. In addition to animal testing, MAC cosmetics still claim to be cruelty-free, even though they are still on PETA's corporate "blacklist." The horrible tests animals are subjected to are not worth producing beauty products. Many cosmetics use natural products that would not need to be tested.
