Essay / Two Perspectives on London - 2375
Different people see things with different perceptions. Some people may look toward the better, brighter side while others look down to see the deeper, darker side. The poets' journeys help readers understand why and how they wrote about London from such different perspectives. “Upon Westminster Bridge” is written in a rather quiet and peaceful tone while “London” has a rather harsh and depressing mood throughout the piece.
