Guatemala is a popular tourist attraction with Mayan ruins and Tikal, well known for its beauty and ancient wonders. Guatemala is populated by more than 15.8 million inhabitants. The most spoken language is Spanish, followed by quiche. Their currency is the quetzal. Guatemala has a Constitutional Republic, its current president is Otto Perez Molina and its vice president is Rosanna Baldetti. The capital of Guatemala is Guatemala City. Guatemala is a very poor country. They have a capital per share of $5,300.00 in US dollars. This is believed to be due to lack of education, lack of infrastructure and transport.
