Long story short, she was in a long-distance relationship with an older man. One day she flashed him on webcam and he took a photo of the screen. Throughout the year, his photo was circulated to every school possible. Everyone made fun of her, picked on her, online and at school. She also posted her latest video on Youtube, explaining what was happening. People harassed her even more afterward. Suddenly, in October 2012, she committed suicide. Police and the FBI are still unable to identify the man responsible for the photo taken. Even after his death, his latest video still receives negative comments. The question is: how does this affect our schools? Cyberbullying has clearly gained relevance in our school. People have shown themselves to be insufficiently mature to properly manage Internet use in schools. What happened is unjustified, inappropriate and appalling. The problem is that this was all very abrupt and continued throughout the week. Cyberbullying is not something we can completely ignore.
