How does geometry convey beauty through the pyramids of Giza? The creation of the Giza Pyramids has a huge impact on the architectural and mathematical world, which lies in the use of geometric shapes that hide symbolism and precise measurements deep within its foundations, which are reflected in its spiritual and physical beauty . Among all the aspects that the pyramids reflect, there is one in particular that is not always seen by spectators, namely the symbolism and reflection of Egyptian beliefs through the form; or spiritual beauty. Additionally, the shapes of the structure contain the golden ratio, which would have been used in other aesthetically appealing structures and/or objects. Precision was also taken in the manufacturing of the pyramids to achieve ideal accuracy and appearance. One of the reasons the pyramids of Giza are considered beautiful is that the shape itself expresses important meanings and values. The king was also buried there to be worshiped while avoiding worldly disturbances and having a successful afterlife. There are also many theories in which the form is believed to be a manifestation of the sun's rays (from AP Art History course notes), which are also linked to the belief of reaching the afterlife. Furthermore, it may also be related to the belief that the king was a god who ruled Egypt until their reunion with their father, the Sun God Ra, after their deaths. The angles of the four faces of the equilateral triangle meet at the very top, at a height so great that it strives to reach the sky, or according to Egyptian belief; the beyond.
