A bomb named "Little Boy", dropped by the United States, was carried through the air, falling from 13,000 feet high on the unknowing residents of Hiroshima. The bomb exploded at 8:15 a.m., 100 feet from the aiming point. The fireball measured 18,000 feet in diameter, the temperature at the center of the fireball measured 100,000,000 degrees Celsius. Less than a minute after it fell, the bomb exploded above the city. Hiroshima was reduced to pieces. Everyone in the city died instantly, their outlines imprinted on the streets.
