Statement of Purpose Throughout my undergraduate studies, I have strived to develop a solid understanding of topics across the spectrum of computer science, because I believe that an initial holistic approach can prove to be a solid foundation. for any future activity in the field. From now on, I would like to delve deeper into the subjects that interest me and carve out a niche for myself. Over the years, I have become particularly interested in computer security. It is necessary in almost every aspect of systems development and relies heavily on knowledge of the complex workings of networks, operating systems, and mathematics. It was in the 3rd year of my baccalaureate that I was introduced to its fundamentals through the “Number Theory and Cryptography” course. Learning RSA and zero knowledge protocols introduced me to this whole new way of thinking about security. This convinced me to choose “Computer Security” as an elective course to develop a deeper understanding of the subject. Other courses such as networking, operating systems, distributed systems, etc. deepened my understanding of the role security plays in all of these areas. Later, my experience working in the industry taught me the different ways in which the security of a product can be compromised and all the measures and methods to be taken while designing the product architecture and while coding strictly speaking. I believe that through all of this, I have gained an ideal blend of strong security foundation and practical knowledge, which will help me bring my own unique angle to problem solving. Pursuing a master's degree in computer science at UTCS will allow me to more fully develop my knowledge in these areas and to make my contribution to ongoing research.......middle of paper ......are organized in our college. I believe that all my theoretical and practical knowledge in all areas of computer science provides me with the necessary skills to pursue higher education; because I not only know how different domains relate to each other, but I can also effectively realize the nesting of different domains with security. This solid foundation and my thirst for knowledge is what I bring with me to UTCS. I would like to conclude by saying that it is not only the renowned name of UTCS, but also the range of research that has taken place and is taking place at UTCS, which attracted me to this institution. I would love the opportunity to work with the security group and explore the areas together.
