Video games did not gain popularity until the 1970s and 1980s, when arcade video games, gaming consoles and personal computer games emerged. The first authentic video game was The Magnavox Odyssey. It appeared in 1972. It measured approximately three to four inches in height and twelve inches in length and one half of that length is width with a flat white rectangle shape on top. was miniature of itself but black with the logo on the front. We now have PlayStation and Xbox One as our primary console with incredibly realistic graphics and sound. Video games have gradually become a part of culture across the world, as everyone can understand because there are many different types of games that everyone can enjoy. They even have a video game show on Syfy. Some people may have gone too far in the game by neglecting their responsibilities, their job, their children, their wife, their husband, their friend, their life, their family, others go so far as to quit their job just to relish a few extra hours of gaming. The game can also influence one's mind if these people start playing violent games over 18 at the age of adolescence which can be dangerous to others or put themselves in danger. I accept neglecting a responsibility or quitting a job just for a few extra hours of play, while I disagree on the issue of play influencing violence in a child's mind, as it is the duty of parents to observe what their children are playing. ; in other words, parents are responsible for what their children play, because the child cannot buy R rating or 18+ rating, parents must buy them for their children. Gaming can be bad for you if you let it control you, gaming is all about relaxation or escaping from authenticity to another world for a short time of course, everyone knows you can't escape for authenticity, just take a short break and
