The Evolution of Race RelationsThe evolution of race relations has changed throughout history up to the present. The idea that the situation is improving is not true. Racial prejudice is a huge problem in the everyday world. Even though it seems wrong, people are judged every day based on their ethnicity. As unfair as it may seem, it is still a major problem in race relations today. The idea that the world can be perfect and the world peaceful is not practical. No matter what, there will always be racial conflicts in the world. Emmett Till Murder Trial and The Scottsboro Boys Trials are two obvious reasons why. In the United States of America, the most common forms of racism usually occur between whites and blacks who do not get along. More recently, white people have killed black people, although this is not always the case. All over the world there is a large amount of racism depending on the country and where it is located in the world. It would be almost impossible to find a peaceful country without disputes. The evolution of race relations has not improved, but it has not gotten worse either. They remained consistently bad. They may be constantly improving, but it takes everyone, not just a few people. Some people like the way the world is and don't want it to change, they are the ones who stop others from making the world a better place. No matter what happens in the world, racial conflict is an eternal problem that will never go away. The first immoral racial trial took place in the 1930s in the book To Kill a Mockingbird. This case is clearly fiction, but it shows what was likely to happen at the time it occurred. Tom Robinson was accused of raping Mayella... middle of paper ... different backgrounds and points of view. No matter what the situation is, everyone always thinks they are being treated badly. The evolution of race relations has changed from certain ethnic groups being treated poorly to every ethnic group, at some point, being treated poorly. There is no way to resolve this issue. Many believe that peace can be achieved, but this is simply unlikely. If everyone worked together to make a change it would be possible, but that's the problem. It's not easy to get everyone on the same page because they are too stubborn and like the way the world is. This slows down racial evolution, because the only way to achieve change is to involve everyone. This will require a lot of persuasion, so it's not likely. This is why the racial evolution of the past will remain the same as it has been until now throughout history..
