Essay / Why I want to pursue a graduate program in Kabul...
During my research, I discovered that due to decades of war and conflict, not only the progression of education anatomy was affected, but it also resulted in a loss of qualified personnel and facilities. The result of this deprivation is that, throughout the country, there is not a single establishment capable of dissecting the corpses of medical students. Even the anatomy laboratory at Kabul Medical University, the country's top medical university, is limited to a few models and artificial specimens. Additionally, all anatomy professors hold only a doctorate in medicine, meaning there is a high demand for those with an advanced degree in anatomy. Due to this situation, I would like to participate in a program in the United States that will not only deepen my knowledge of anatomy, but also familiarize me with the latest technology and a variety of educational tools used in this field.
