Essay / The causes of the Great Depression? - 1068
At the end of World War I, Americans were experiencing a period of prosperity and economic growth. Many used their money to buy items deemed unnecessary. A few years later, the United States faced a stock market crash that was considered the largest it had ever experienced. This stock market crash was called the Great Depression, and rightly so, because it left the country in ruins. Societal changes, education, mass migration and child labor are just some of the changes that have occurred during this nightmare. A few negative events also occurred, such as the Harlem Renaissance, the Dust Bowl, and banking regulation. The country undertook this collapse for about 12 years and left them demolished. After a while, this national problem turned into a global depression. The main reason for this depression was a weak economy. The weakness and imbalance of the American economy. The inability to deal with revenue and monetary problems greatly affected the United States, as subsequent events show. This led to the stock market crash, which then led to the famous Great Depression. Education was one of the most important things in the country at that time. However, he sinks into depression. Due to the poor chances of finding a job during the Great Depression, many students decided to stay in school longer until the situation improved. Staying in school longer allowed students to learn more and practice what they love until the country got back on its feet. The agricultural population and employment rates also declined significantly after a few years of depression. This decline was most likely due to the low income of farmers due to overproduction...... middle of paper ...... Right after World War I, as if the country had not suffered, it had killed everyone. I hope they were gone. Thanks to the implementation of numerous reforms, such as Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal, the country was able to return to its previous state, and even better. Many changes that came into effect have returned to normal to meet people's needs. The changes were nevertheless radical. Farmers got their land back, banks were restored, unemployment rates fell again, and crops were not overproduced. In my opinion, the Great Depression was necessary so that the country could fight back harder. He taught the country as a whole a lesson and ensured that the same mistakes were not made again. An example would be the recent stock market crash which hardly affected the country due to the abundance of knowledge gained from this previous experience..
