    Although intelligence sharing is not new, it has traditionally occurred between close allies. The United States and the United Kingdom are the best examples of intelligence sharing between close allies. Although the United States and the United Kingdom share a wealth of information, in order to facilitate changing times, the international intelligence community must evolve to address threats that operate internationally. Thanks to the French-American partnership in the conflict in Mali, we are seeing better relations between the two countries in the fight against the insurgency. The United States provided France with valuable air and logistical support, sending drones to the battlefield and providing France with imagery intelligence. This intelligence sharing between countries aims to build greater relationships and trust.
