It's early on a Saturday evening. After a hard day of studying and an exhausting dance rehearsal, my stomach is growling. I say to myself: I'm starving! But then I stop. I'm not starving. The hunger I feel is not even a hint of the constant pain many people feel on a daily basis. This realization makes you realize how fortunate our Brookfield Academy community is. While some might wish to steal or desire a material object, ending world hunger would be my wish. Food is one of the five basic necessities of life. Today's economy creates an even greater barrier for disadvantaged families wishing to purchase food, as well as supporting charitable organizations wishing to make food donations.
