All over the world, people love. They live for love, they write for love, they sing, eat, cook, die and kill for love (ForumNetwork, 2009). Since the beginning of recorded time, people have wondered why love is such an intense and universal feeling. There is no culture on this planet without love (ForumNetwork, 2009). This essay will only talk about romantic love where sexuality and attraction are involved. Romantic love, is one of the most powerful energies on earth (ForumNetwork, 2009), it is indeed one of the most addictive substances that one can experience at least once in their life. The cocaine rush and the love rush depend on the same chemicals in our brains (ForumNetwork, 2009); we are literally addicted to love. The feeling of being in love does not depend on whether the other party loves you back or not, it will help you feel happier for sure, but the intensity of the feeling of being loved or broken is the same, they both start from the same principle: love and desire for the other. Love dwells in the most fundamental system of our brain, beneath all cognitive processes, beneath all motor impulses; it is placed in our reward system, the oldest of all (ForumNetwork, 2009). In order to bring together all the information we have in the science of love, many researchers from different fields have cooperated to get an idea of what is going on. when love happens. One of the world's leading researchers in this area is the American anthropologist Helen Fisher, author of many successful books such as Why We Love, or Why Him, Why She.
