Many college graduates have difficulty finding employment. The biggest problem is the amount of student debt. Additionally, when training becomes obsolete a few years after graduation, a college degree loses all value. If a college graduate doesn't land a well-paying job six months after graduation, they must begin paying off their student loans. Additionally, many employers will hire someone with an expired college degree. College is now impossible for most students without incurring heavy debt, it is not worth the time and money, and many students are beginning to consider non-degree career options. From the moment a child enters elementary school, they are taught that to succeed in life, they need to get good grades in high school so they can be accepted into top universities. They are taught that if they graduate from college, they will be guaranteed a professional job upon graduation. High schools don't teach students how to start their own business or invent their own product. No special courses are offered to explore other non-degree career options. Unless a student adheres to the belief that they need a college degree to succeed in the job market, they will take unskilled jobs at minimum wage. A student can no longer pay their tuition by working without obtaining student loans or financial aid from their parents. The government destroyed this situation by giving easy student loans to anyone who applied, without any credit checks. Today, many students cannot find jobs after graduating from college. Student loan payments begin within six months of graduation, and many students owe thousands of dollars and must work unskilled minimum wage jobs to begin repaying these loans.
