Lack of sleep can and will affect the way any human being goes about their normal life in the worst way imaginable. Without the right amount of sleep for the brain, the mind will become confused and even painful. The correct and necessary amount of sleep can prevent problems like brain damage and even heart problems, but without the right amount of sleep, things are bound to happen in the near future and harm the life of any human being . Lack of sleep will affect every human life, man, woman and child, in a horrible and enormous way that will harm that person's mind and body. Lack of sleep will affect the life of any human being mentally, physically and shockingly even emotionally. their normal daily life and make it less normal. “The quality of your sleep can affect your waking life, including your mental acuity, productivity, emotional balance, creativity, and even your weight” (Smith et al.). For example, let's say that a student takes an exam in the morning, as does his friend, that one student sleeps 5 hours and the other 9 hours, the one who has 5 hours will necessarily do worse than his friend, because he does not have not slept enough. In other words, the mind thrives on rest and cannot function properly without it. So it's best to rest after a hard day's work. Due to low rest hours it can almost feel like drinking alcohol, the body feels sick and sleepy and doesn't want to do anything (About). Whenever someone tries to perform a high-level thinking task, without getting enough sleep, the mind will not function properly and the person will most likely end up confused and might as well give up on what they are doing.
