A complete education will only be a reality if the education system adapts to the entire development of students. Every country in the world is competing with each other to produce the perfect curriculum to prepare their citizens for this modern world. Malaysia is also one of the developing countries that are very concerned about the country's education system. Australia is another country that is always compared to the world-class education system. In this essay, we will discuss the education system from kindergarten to secondary education in Malaysia and Australia as well as compare and contrast the education systems of the two countries.2.0 Malaysian Education SystemMalaysia consists of Peninsular Malaysia, Sarawak and Sabah. In Malaysia, the entire education system is under the control of the government. This central program means that each state and territory has the same curriculum, the same age for going to school and others. In Malaysia, there are five categories of education: preschool, primary, secondary and tertiary schools (Malaysian Education Blueprint 2013-2025). However, in this essay we only discuss secondary education. Preschool education in Malaysia caters for children aged 4 to 6 years. The concept of preschool education is to provide a 2-year learning experience before entering first grade. There are two types of preschool education: public preschool and private preschool.
