    On March 9, the Northeast Tarrant County College Music Department presented a diverse concert entitled "Music Through the Centuries." The concert took place in four different spaces where you walk through and hear important pieces from the Renaissance, Baroque, Classical and Romantic, as well as Big Band Jazz. Each performance area had its own set of vocal and instrumental variations from that specific period. The concert included fourteen different performances across the centuries. “Allemande”, “Duet with two obligatory glasses”, “Valse, op. 64, No. 1” and “La Suerte De Los Tontos” were three enlightening pieces that gave audiences a better understanding of the music written during this era. The first title “Allemande” was written by John Dowland. It was gracefully played by a guitar, but originally played on a lute. The song had a melancholy style with a moderate tempo using double meter. The room itself has a playful side, varying between soft and statement tones. Every guitar rift was clear and filled with a catchy melody that gave it Rena's unique character....
