Essay / Loris - 582
Loris Malaguzzi was born in Corregio, Italy in 1920. He lived in a town called Reggioi Emmilia in Italy, recognized worldwide for its approach to education. After years, he then developed preschool and primary education in Italy after World War II. In 1976, parents and the community confirmed their support for the guiding principles of the Reggio approach to early childhood education. After his unexpected death, the Reggio Emilia community continued, fulfilled their dreams and fulfilled the mission of Reggio, which strengthened the potential of all children. Soon a foundation was named “The Reggio Mission” and was established as the “International Center for the Defense and Promotion of the Rights and Potential of All Children”. Loris Malaguzzi was the founder of the Reggio Emilia schools; he believed that all children are capable of learning and constructing their own learning. He also believed that family and community are very important in our learning abilities. The Reggio Emilia approach is based on the belief that children are powerful people, full of desire and capacity to grow and construct their own knowledge. He also believed that children have the right to interact and communicate with each other while respecting each other, and I completely agree with him on this! The child is also seen as an active constructor of knowledge rather than the target of instructions. He has this other belief that the child is seen as beautiful, powerful, competent, creative, curious and full of potential and ambitious desires. After a while Lori became the inspiration behind the educational experiences in Reggio Emilia, he thought he needed a little more experience in the middle of a paper......ly and friends are important in our lives and why did he think that? Well, he thought that if his friends or family helped him learn, it would help all of us learn. Family and friends are important in our lives, as are our acquaintances! Lori Malaguzzi was known to many educators, meaning this man was recognized for his hard work and what he accomplished over the years.
