America is also known as the universal “melting pot,” where diversity is welcomed with open arms. This nation as a whole has reprogrammed itself to be more tolerant and tolerant of anything outside of its "norm" form; but to what extent? According to Google definitions: Beauty is a combination of qualities, such as shape, color, or form, that appeals to the aesthetic senses, in particular. the view. So, speaking of technical details, beauty varies according to the eyes of the beholder or according to the opinion of the individual. In today's society, beauty has been manufactured and has somehow morphed into different categories based on appearance, gender, race, and age. If that person is unsuccessful or unsuccessful, they are considered unattractive. Yes, America has accepted different types of beauty, but it is only tolerant to a certain extent. The same hand that pats us on the back is the same hand that pushes us away because we are different. Appearance makes us who we are to the outside world, primarily how we present ourselves. Our genetic makeup (skin, hair, eyes, nose, etc.) constitute the factors that make up beauty. We hum the song of love of diversity and tell people to stay true to who they are, but this is not put into practice. For example, the constant problem of women and even men is their weight. As humans we gain weight, it's part of the circle of life, but they have associated extra weight gain or a plus size as "ugly" or not as attractive as petite. If you look through magazines, advertisements, and other media sources, you only see small models. The industry has grown to the point of offering "plus-size models", but that's it. Why can't we just call them "models"? Here is the reason; the addition of the word plus size is just a reminder that...... middle of paper ... "value is in the eye of the beholder" is a famous quote used from time to time. America is very tolerant of diverse beauty, but only to a certain extent. Subliminally, we feel like people have adopted different types of beautiful, but in reality, they always want them to conform to “their” definition of beautiful. With appearance, there is a certain look that must be put together to be presentable. Depending on gender, there is a guideline for what each gender should look like. Age is a blessing but a curse to the outer body; develop wrinkles and not look young. The definition of beauty has been altered and beaten to the core; it is up to the individual to live by the invisible regulations or break the rules.
