In “Elastic Heart”, the environment was simple with the white painted walls and the modest iron bird cage. On the other hand, although the setting was simple, the show was confusing and complex. Unlike Edward Sharpe's video, the audience could not perform the song's lyrics with the performance. Due to the issue of gender and dance drama, the audience was unable to focus on the connection between the music and the performance. In other words, the audience could not understand the music due to the dramatic and modern and tender approach of the performers. Overall, in addition to the simple and spare decor, the place was created thanks to the strong emotions and interactions between the two performers. Both individuals showed strong facial expressions and quick reactions to each other's dancing. For example, the little girl played by Maddie Ziegler would jump, scream, and fight at the man, while the man played by Shia Labeouf would yell back or try to be friendly. As a result, the location was integrated into the space of the birdcage from the experience and relationship of the two dancers towards each other. Even though Maddie Ziegler had the ability to escape, she would return to the birdcage and continue dancing. In the meantime,
