    Interrogation is a conversation between a law enforcement officer and a person suspected of having committed a crime or of assisting another to commit a crime (AIU Online, 2007). Interrogations are used many times. They are intended to get someone to confess to something, whether it is a crime or to give information about a crime or about someone. When conducting an interrogation, the interrogator must demonstrate confidence and creativity. If you don't feel confident interviewing someone, it will show and the person won't give up the information you want. They will feel that you don't know what you are doing. The creative skills used will help you get the information you need to solve a case. If an interrogation goes as the interrogator planned, he or she may eventually admit that this is not the case. Researchers estimate that between 42% and 55% of suspects admit to having committed a crime during their integration (Layton, 2008). My priorities for helping detectives with their interrogation techniques would be that they understand the interrogation process....
