    Among the many factors in today's society which is experiencing tremendous growth, technology has been the most progressive. Having observed over the years, technology has developed at a gradual pace. In many cases, technology has given society a prestige goal. In some cases, however, technology can be used for harmful purposes, including cyberbullying. Looking at this factor on a large scale, it is clear that cyberbullying is growing and is a factor of technological growth. Before understanding the concept of cyberbullying, it is essential to understand its scope. Harassment is considered part of the animal's instinct. Animals stalk their prey before they begin their attack. A person who watches over a person, follows them may feel harmless by committing this act. In fact, we can exclude that this scenario is very dangerous in the eyes of the harassed victim. This can be taken very seriously and the harasser can be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Sneaking after a person and continuing this behavior is considered criminal harassment (Maxwell, 2001). As technology has developed, bullying has advanced using different techniques, including cyberbullying. A large number of individuals do not understand what cyberbullying entails. In the past, harassment was done using different procedures, including finding a person's house and monitoring them or following a person unwelcome. Over time, technology has developed at a rapid pace. The birth of the Internet has brought about many radical changes in the world. Some have a very negative effect on society, notably cyberbullying. States, including Michigan, have laws that protect victims of cyberbullying. These statuses are aimed at victims of online stalking or harassment that causes emotional stress or affects the victims' lives as a whole (Ellison and Akdeniz, 1998). Laws are being passed every day. It is justified to note that cyberbullying is increasing every day. There are many different ways for cyberstalkers to reach their victims, and it is becoming more and more dangerous. Alternative methods include keeping personal information off the internet, which can reduce the damage caused by cyberstalkers. Issues such as passing more laws strictly enforcing cyberbullying should be placed to help the cause. Cyberbullies can cause stress and harm to victims. Without changes in our society and our laws, cyberbullying will continue to increase.
