    My mother died and my father and I are raising my seven-year-old sister. I never noticed that many of the things she would do would be considered classically conditioned and operant. The first thing I noticed was after I got home, ate a snack and talked to myself for a bit. She started doing her homework, and as soon as she was done, she wanted a sticker on her sticker board. At the end of the week, if she had twenty stickers, she would receive a reward. She was operationally conditioned to do her homework when she got home, which led to a reinforcement of appetite, to reinforce the behavior. I remember that removing something good would in turn decrease bad behavior. If my father didn't like what my sister did, he would stop her from going to friends' houses, watching TV, or removing a sticker from the sticker chart. This appetitive punishment weakened bad behavior. I never realized that removing something good to weaken a behavior would be considered operant conditioning. My dad normally makes a hot breakfast for me and my sister in the morning. I remember...
