Table of ContentsIntroductionMan's Impact on Earth's EnvironmentHumans as Dangerous CreaturesConclusionWorks CitedIntroductionAs far as the world knows, humans are the only creatures intelligent and civilized people of the universe. Many would think that this should make humans superior and better than all other animals, but is this true? Just because they have better cognitive abilities than other primates does not mean they are better, although some people seem to think otherwise. Humans think they are improving a situation when in fact they are just trying to solve a bigger problem that they themselves created. In fact, humans are the most dangerous animal on earth. Would removing humans from the equation create a natural balance between planet Earth and animal life? Many do not know this, but think that at least it will not have as negative an impact as what they are doing now. Say no to plagiarism. Since 1750, greenhouse gas emissions have increased from virtually 0 tonnes per year to 35 billion tonnes per year worldwide. The concentration of CO2 in parts per million has increased from 25 to 35. This is extremely damaging to the environment and the earth's climate. Rising temperatures can create an increase in natural disasters that are harmful to animal habitats. Since humans are smarter and are the ones causing the problem, then they should protect the animals. We must not leave it to the incapable to solve problems they cannot solve. It hurts them more than humans and it's humans who do it. Before man, there was not this problem of environmental degradation which allowed animals to live in a self-sufficient environment. The only reason so much gas is produced is because non-renewable energy sources are cheaper than renewable sources. While this allows big companies to make more money, it also causes more damage to the planet. What can they spend this money on if there is nothing left? They don't think about the fact that even if they have a lot of money, they will be dead before they can spend it. Humans, Dangerous Creatures Humans are self-destructive when it comes to contact with each other. Adding to what is said in the previous paragraph, humans are killing themselves through means like pollution. Pollution is not only bad for the environment, but it also harms humans by destroying crops, increasing droughts, and contributing to the spread of malaria-infected mosquitoes in the region. Likewise, these human damage issues have occurred throughout time. In history there have been many wars against two different sides, they always end with the same losses and devastation. In the past, instead of primarily focusing on creating and improving civilization, humans instead decided to destroy it. Almost all other species are struggling to progress and evolve while humans make it harder and harder for them. For an ecosystem to be successful you need many different species and even removing one of them can destroy it and that's what humans do. It is inevitable that a species that kills itself will not succeed, but humans have lived for thousands of years., 10(2), 19.
