  • Essay / The Basic Principle of Flight - 765

Flight has been a dream of mankind, after the completion of the first powered aircraft flight project by the Wright brothers, aviation technology is evolving rapidly. From the ancient light aircraft to the hundred-ton airliner or even a combat aircraft as flexible as an eagle, flight technology has become one of the astonishing achievements of science and technology. Aerodynamics is a fundamental principle of flight and civil aircraft unit, in order to have the ability to move in the sky, the balance of forces of air transport must be greater than the weight and the thrust is greater in drag. An airplane uses wings for lift and thrust engines. Drag is reduced by the smooth shape of an aircraft and its weight is controlled by the materials from which it is constructed.LiftFollowing Bernoulli's principle, to be able to launch the aircraft (on the bottom of the wing due to a pressure difference between the different flow rates) then led to the elevator overturning; the plane cannot be explained as being inverted. We should be able to generate lift through boundary layer theory, this simply due to the velocity of the airflow through the wing of the discontinuity caused by the vortex, the angle of attack (the airflow angle of the wing) when the lift is larger and higher. the coefficient increases stronger, but beyond a certain angle of attack, it will not generate lift stall. Of course, there are very complex calculations about this.DragWhen the object moves forward, as long as the physical body propelled through the air experiences resistance, this resistance is called drag. If the cross-sectional area in contact with the forward direction is largest, air resistance will be greater, in addition to friction (adhesion due to the fluid present) and induced drag... ... middle of paper.... ...motor, you have to rely on the motor to slide into the platform. So, when landing, the engines usually open reverse to eliminate the force needed to move forward. In the last century, airplanes made our immense planet a small, narrow world. Additionally, the Wright brothers managed to lay the foundation for today's astronauts. For centuries, people have dreamed of flying. But in fact, they believe that riding Aladdin's "flying carpet" in the real world is just an impossible dream. However, the genius creation (airplane) of the Wright brothers transformed human's dream from myth into reality. Works Cited "Parts of Airplane". Parts of an airplane. Internet.
