    I like how the ethnographer recognized the concept of tunnel vision and tries hard not to, but I don't believe that the One can completely abandon their previous beliefs about a certain place/people or fully understand what everything means holistically, unless they themselves were raised there. Although I understand that if an ethnographer studies a place where they grew up or a place similar to a place where they grew up, there could be a conflict of interest and other biases that are foreign to me. Also, he states that they were a little uncomfortable with him being white because of the fear of him being a cop, he then states that later they became comfortable with him over time. I disagree with him here because he has the privilege of not being aware of his privilege, however, these people of color are hyper aware of it so they may have tried harder to appear different and even if they seemed at ease with him, I don't believe that it will ever be the same as when they are among others Puerto
