    GlobalCybercrime is becoming more and more common with the development of technology in the world. Cybercrime is a criminal act that is now a global problem that occurs over the Internet or through a computer network. There are three categories into which cybercrime can be divided:1. Targeted cybercrime: crime in which the computer is the target of the crime.2. Instrumental cybercrime: an offense in which a computer is used as a tool to commit the offense.3. Computer accessory: a crime in which a computer plays a minor role in the commission of the offense. (Zhicheng Yang, 2011) Cybercrime Laws: There are laws targeting different cybercrimes. As the Internet is very difficult to control and regulate, laws vary by country. The Internet has no borders and cybercrime is not a crime that can be solved by government intervention. This is why cybercrime laws vary from country to country, with some taking it more seriously than others. Why does cybercrime occur? Criminals engage in cybercrime activities all over the world. There are several reasons why cybercrime is becoming a growing problem. Criminals are able to carry out illegal activities anonymously, meaning they cannot be traced or identified. This gives criminals more chances to engage in such activities online rather than doing them physically. For example, there is a greater chance that a criminal will be arrested for stealing in real life and then arrested for creating an online scam to steal money. Cybercrime allows criminals to commit crimes in countries in which they do not currently reside; criminals have a screen to hide behind. The laws are heavily enforced around the world and are starting to make headway in developing countries to minimize cybercrime internationally. Cybercrime is an evolving problem and the laws cannot keep up with this evolution. There are no boundaries to cybercrime, making it difficult to enforce effective laws. This is why I think laws should be made on a global scale rather than on a national scale to defeat cybercrime on a global level..
