Since social media has taken over a large part of our lives, it is inevitable that we continue to use it. For this reason, a teacher's most common concern about their students is the impact of social media on their lives. However, this does not precisely mean that this impact will be harmful. On the contrary, it can be very useful. The bottom line is that students need to start viewing Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other social media as an opportunity to share their writing for a purpose. The goal is to make them see their “Timelines” as real writing, which in reality it is. It is therefore up to each student to give appropriate importance to what they write, making social media the most relevant way to communicate.
